Red Ribbon Week
October 29, 2015
Red Ribbon week runs from October 26th-October 31st. As a faculty, we are encouraging our students to respect themselves by leading a drug, alcohol, and tobacco free lifestyle. Homeroom classes throughout the school are participating in daily announcements/trivia questions, door decorating activities, and festive dress up days to support red ribbon week. As parents, you can help our fight against drugs by talking with your child about the importance of a drug free lifestyle. According to the Red Ribbon Campaign, “Children of parents who talk to their teens regularly about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those who don't…”) Help us in the fight against drugs, ask your child about Red Ribbon Week at LMS!
